Description
Two identical B/W postcards with a view of Old Town from the Penobscot River. The bandstand, which was built in 1938 is clearly visible as is the “pie plate”. Since the postcard requires a one-cent stamp, it predate 1952, when postage for postcards went up to two cents. This dates the cards to the 1940s. The cards were printed by American Art Post Card Co. of Boston, Mass.
