Description
A cabinet photograph of Dr. James C. Bradbury (1806-1865). He graduated Bowdoin Medical School in 1829 and practiced medicine in Old Town for 35 years. His colleagues at the Maine Medical Association wrote a glowing biographical sketch of his life and achievements following his death. Photo taken by Moses L. Averill, who was mostly active in the 1870s.
